Mercedes Overview

The 100% owned Mercedes mine is located in Sonora, Mexico, approximately 250 km northeast of Hermosillo, Mexico and 300 km south of Tucson, Arizona. Mercedes is accessible by paved highway from Hermosillo, which is served by an international airport.

Mercedes has been in continuous operation since 2011, except for a brief Mexico-wide Covid-19 related shutdown in 2020, and was operated by other mining companies from 2011 until April 2022 when it was acquired by Bear Creek.

The Mercedes property consists of 43 mineral concessions totalling 69,284 hectares.
